Blueberry Cobbler

This summer treat is bursting with blueberry flavor and topped with the most delectable cobbler topping.
Summer is made for desserts like fresh fruit cobbler. Blueberry happens to be my favorite flavor, and this treat is irresistibly sweet and delicious.
Blueberry Cobbler

Ingredients
For the Filling
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
For the Cobbler
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 brown sugar (not packed)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 cup Organic Whole Milk Lifeway Kefir
- cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add melted butter into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
- Mix together the blueberries, sugar and zest. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, sugars, baking powders and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Add blueberries on top of melted butter. Pour batter over the blueberries and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the cobbler is cooked and nicely golden brown.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
